Visitor Information
- Foreign language tours are for foreigners only. Please limit your Korean companions to maximum 2 on the foreign language tours (Your ID card would be submitted if necessary).
- Visitors to the Secret Garden are required to join a guided tour.
- ¡Ø Only 100 tickets are available for each tour.
How to View
- Time required: 90min.(70min. at the coldest / hottest season. Refer to Tour Course).
- Royal Palace Pass holder must exchange the Secret Garden Voucher for a valid ticket at ticket office, on a first come first served basis. Purchasing a Royal Palace Pass does not guarantee entrance to the Secret Garden.
- Please allow yourself 20 minutes to get to the Secret Garden from the main gate.
- Once the tour has started, no one is allowed to enter the Secret Garden (refer to the Refund policy).

How to Book
- Please make sure you are Signed Up and Logged In prior to online bookings. Please use proper email address. (Necessary when reserve, confirm and cancel)
- Select Date : On-line booking must be made prior to the tour date. Reservation window starts to open from 10:00 am, 6days in advance until one day before the
tour date. (e.g. if your visit is Dec. 8th, booking can be made from 10 am on Dec.2nd).
- Booked tickets should be purchased till payment due date(If not, the reservation automatically expires)
- Deadline for payment : within 24 hours of reservation (However, reservations made on the day before the observation date must be made by 23:59 on the day of
reservation.)
e.g. ¨çYour visiting day is on Dec. 11th
If you booked tickets 10am on Dec. 8th, you should purchase a ticket before 10am
on Dec. 9th
e.g. ¨èYour visiting day is on Dec. 11th
If you booked tickets 10am on Dec. 10th, you should purchase a ticket before
midnight on the day.
- Select a time of tour/language(Korean/ English/ Chinese/ Japanese):
Due to limited tickets available for the secret garden, foreign language tours are for
foreigners only. If necessary, 2-person cap applies to Korean companions.(Your ID card would be submitted if necessary).
- Select Admission Type:
Ticket reservations are limited to 10 tickets per person a day.
¡ØThere are 100 tickets available per tour. 50 for on-line bookings and the rest are
for walk-ins on the day of tour, on a first come first served basis.
- Payment method: Credit Cards issued overseas are accepted.
(No Credit Cards issued in Korea.)
- No group discounts available.(refer to the discount policy)
- The Secret Garden ticket does not include General Admission ticket. If you purchased tickets of secret garden, you should purchase admission tickets as well.
- After payment, please check the confirmation sheet at "My Page".
You can issue the ticket at ticket office or ticket machine on the due date.
Or you can enter the palace with mobile ticket.

How to enter the palace
- By presenting your mobile ticket at the entrance(Screenshot of ticket is not valid.)
- By issuing booked ticket for validation at the ticket office or machine
- A printed confirmation sheet is not a valid ticket.
Only a valid ticket will be accepted for entry to the Palace grounds.
How to use mobile tickets
- Mobile tickets are not reusable.
- Visit the palace website (Transfer to English Service page) ¡æ Click Secret Garden Ticket Reservation ¡æ Sign In/Log In ¡æ Click My page
- Your mobile ticket or e-ticket will be activated on your phone as of 30 min. prior to
the starting time of the Secret Garden Tour you reserved.
¡Ø Only one type of tickets, either paper or mobile tickets, can be issued per
reservation.
- Please present your mobile tickets at the at the Secret Garden Entrance.
